Doctoral Academy Disability Coordinators
What is a Disability Coordinator?
Every Faculty has a set of Disability Coordinators. The Disability Advisory and Support Service and University of Manchester Assessment Centre send information to the DASS Coordinators about the support students need, when this has been agreed to. The DASS Coordinators then send the information on to the people who need to see it, such as the Main Supervisors.
When should I contact my Disability Coordinator?
You can contact your Disability Coordinator for issues relating to your School, or any of the issues below.
- If you’re not receiving the support in your University Support Plan.
- If you want to apply for mitigating circumstances or an extension due to your disability.
- If you’re not sure how to access the support that we can provide.
